The motto
Today I wanted to share a bit more about the motto “Inspire yourself, inspire others”. An ode to inspiration. However fragile and random it may be. To me, it encapsulates the incredible power of personal inspiration and its ripple effect on those around us. It serves as a reminder of the immense potential we hold within ourselves to ignite positive change and uplift those in our sphere of influence.
The beauty of this motto lies in its recognition that our journey of inspiration does not end with ourselves. As we find the courage to pursue our own dreams and overcome obstacles, we naturally radiate a contagious energy and enthusiasm. Others witness our transformation, our resilience, and our accomplishments, and they too become inspired.
An eye and a heart. A secondary logo to simply say: “love what you see” but also to look at what you love. Knowing what you love is important. To me it started with a question as simple as “what is your comfort food?”. Yeah… what brings me which emotion? Taking the time to acknowledge what you love is a real exercise. What hobby brings me joy? What makes me laugh? Which places makes me disconnect from work?
And you?
What inspires you? What brings you joy? What resonates with you?
As in this motto, the “you” comes first. We often say “love yourself first to love others” right? I would say it is the same for inspiration. Inspire yourself first before following others. Hopefully it will help you stop comparing yourself to others.
But instead of a “what” it can also be a “who”? Before starting my stained-glass class in Strassen, I did a course on Domestikà and I loved how, in the introduction part, the artist was saying what her influences were.
And in times of struggle, I have an easy line for you. You can think:
“What would [Name] do?”
Example: What would my mom/Gabrielle Solis/an entrepreneur do?
By sharing our stories, ideas, and experiences, we have the power to ignite a spark of inspiration in others. Through our actions, we demonstrate the boundless possibilities that exist when we embrace our potential and dare to dream. Whether it’s through a simple act of kindness, a supportive word, or a grand achievement, we have the ability to touch lives, motivate others, and leave a lasting impact on the world.
I invite you to take the time to know what brings you joy, happiness and inspiration.
Personally, depending on the context, I would say: silence and walking in nature -> for finding new ideas. Podcast, watching autobiographical movies and some newsletters -> for life inspiration.
